arranging the artworks

Here are some shots of getting the artworks ready for the show. the pre arrangement of some works and preparation of others was done in a shed at Seaworks. The artwork will be installed on Friday 8th September by a team, Debbie, Michelle Barry (volunteer), Beka Hannah and Reece Connor. So if you are dying to see it, pop in Friday after school. recycled materials which I can source for you

Here are some materials that are available to make the artwork with, I can source more of these if you are interested. There are also cane circles and large circles made of polypipe plenty of ads and other shiny things strange plastic reels, but might form the base of something like a flying fish that spins as it hangs or two of them to make a butterfly or moth body. reflective, silver quilt and rolled silver contacts heaps of this foil wrapping. not see through so maybe use for the top artwork in small amounts to help catch the light, but would be great for around the bottom of the rotunda, we could do a huge sea theme. or just make gorgeous shiny creatures or big flowers and bugs and then put a different colour background under each area that will Make it stand out. spots and dots and a textured red stuff I thought this might be stuffed with cellophane and stitched together to make long snakes worms, or cut open for lizard skins and reptiles ...
